Apple Dumplings

Ingredients: Dumpling: whole apples (apples, ascorbic acid, sodium chloride, citric acid), pastry flour (enriched wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), sugar, vegetable shortening (partially hydrogenated vegetable oil [soybean and palm oils], water, eggs, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, salt.

Sauce: water, sugar, margarine (vegetable oil blend [partially hydrogenated soybean and palm oils], Contains 2% or less of salt, mono- & diglycerides, nonfat dry milk, soy lecithin, sodium benzoate added as a preservative, artificial flavor, beta carotene (color), vitamin A palmitate), modified food starch, cinnamon, nutmeg.

CONTAINS: EGG, MILK, SOY, WHEAT.

KEEP FROZEN

Baking Instructions:

Heat sauce until warm, by putting bag in the microwave on high (Thawed: 45 sec./Frozen: 1-2 min.)

Convection Oven

  • Place frozen apple dumplings (1/4" apart) into lightly greased baking pan.
  • Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes or until browned as desired.
  • Remove from oven and immediately place dumpling into serving bowl.
  • Pour enough sauce onto hot dumpling to cover (approx. 1/3 cup).
  • Ready to serve with milk, ice cream or plain.

Standard Oven

  • Preheat to 375F. Bake 50-60 minutes. ) Some ovens will vary with temp. & time.)
  • Place frozen apple dumplings (1/4" apart) into lightly greases baking pan.

  • Pour enough sauce onto hot dumpling to cover (approx. 1/3 cup).
  • Ready to serve with milk, ice cream or plain.
